ABOUT KINSHIP LEGAL

Legal planning for real life.

Your life is more than a collection of documents.

It’s the people you love, the things you’ve worked hard for, and the future you’re still figuring out.

We think your legal plan should start there.

WHY KINSHIP

Because the things worth protecting aren’t things at all.

Kinship is about connection to your family, your work, your community, and the generations that come after you.

We built this firm for people in the middle of building a life. Starting families. Growing businesses. Buying homes. Caring for parents. Creating wealth. Navigating loss. Planning for what’s next.

Because legal planning shouldn’t happen outside of real life. It should be part of it.

Lawyer. Entrepreneur. Husband. Dad

Luke has spent most of his adult life in Northwest Arkansas building a career, building businesses, and, alongside his wife, Allie, building a family.

Originally from Central Arkansas, Luke came to Fayetteville for college in 2010 and never left. He earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Arkansas, where he served as a Note and Comment Editor for the Arkansas Law Review and volunteered with organizations including Wills for Heroes, providing free estate planning services to Northwest Arkansas first responders.

After law school, Luke spent six years with a privately funded economic development organization in Bentonville, working across mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, real estate, and general business matters.

But Luke’s understanding of business doesn’t come from only advising business owners. He’s one himself.

His experience as an owner and partner in Northwest Arkansas businesses has given him a seat on both sides of the table, helping him understand the legal questions entrepreneurs face alongside the very real decisions that come with building something of your own.

Today Luke brings those experiences together at Kinship Legal: helping families and business owners protect what they’re building and make thoughtful plans for what comes next.

MEET LUKE

Luke was in his final semester of law school when his grandmother passed away after living for years with a debilitating illness.

His family turned to him with a simple question:

“What happens now?”

Over the next 18 months, Luke watched the people he loved grieve while simultaneously trying to navigate probate and everything that came with it.

It changed the way he thought about estate planning.

A thoughtful plan can’t prevent loss. But it can make an incredibly difficult season less complicated.

That experience helped created Kinship Legal’s purpose: that planning isn’t really about documents.

Some lessons about planning come from experiences.

THE WHY

It’s about people.

THE KINSHIP LEGAL APPROACH

01 LISTEN

Before we talk documents, we talk about you: your family, your businesses, your concerns, and what you’re trying to accomplish.

02 MAKE IT CLEAR

We’ll explain your options in plain English, answer the questions you actually have, and help you make decisions with confidence.

03 BUILD FOR WHAT’S NEXT

Life changes. Families grow. Businesses evolve. We create plans designed with the next chapter in mind.

WHAT ARE YOU BUILDING?

Let’s make a plan for it.

Your family. Your business. Your future.

Whatever you’re building, we’ll help you think through what comes next.
